Get to know the friendly, highly experienced Electroworx Team.
Alex Ruth
Alex is the original founder of Equipurself and co-founder of Solarworx.
He operates out of the Kapiti Coast and is the agent for the greater Wellington region.
Like Richard, Alex has a background in aviation and is spending his time flying domestic jets and helping run the Kapiti office.
Richard Burney
Richard runs the Auckland office. He is co-founder of Solarworx and part owner of the Worxgroup.
Bringing to the table marketing, branding and know-how and was one of the founding members of Solarworx.
Like Alex, Richard has a background in Aviation and understands self-sufficient electrical systems. He will be your point of contact within the Auckland area and is happy to guide you through living with solar.
Corbyn Thompson
Corbyn is our Senior Electrician based out of Kapiti. He has a passion for rugby and gets the best out of our apprentices.
Lisa Ruth
Lisa leads our Finance & Business Performance division. Lisa's passion for creating meaning out of noise means she spends much of her time ensuring the Directors have information presented to them in such a way that decisions can be made with speed.
Derek Schwartz
Derek has joined our team as our SEO and social media guru. Hailing from the US of A Derek is passionate about solar and our business.
Matthew Adshead
Matthew was our first apprentice in the company and is now in the 3rd year of his apprenticeship. Matthew has excelled in all areas of the electrical trade, broadening his skillset and is a keen member of the Team.
Harris Jobe
Harris is in the first year of his electrical apprenticeship.
He has come down from Kerikeri to join our team.
I had SolarWorx install a 10 Panel 3.3Kw system at my Wellington house. They worked with us to get the best panel placement to suit the roof size and orientation, and worked through a rather odd inverter location request. The system was installed over 2 days as it was far too windy to install panels on the first day. Installation was professional and clean, with no mess being left on site. The whole process was incredibly quick and easy with SolarWorx sorting all the paperwork, inspections and certifications. Highly recommended!
